The chicken coop and run are finally finished!!!! All with reclaimed donated wood! Took approximately 8 full days, which with us only have one day off a week available to build, that means 8 weeks. The chickens sure have grown fast and they are so loving their new space to play! We still let them free-range an hour in the morning and an hour at night.
Also, this was our first big project as husband and wife on the homestead. There sure were some bumps along the way but thank the Lord for giving us the opportunities to edify Him even at home in our relationship. We took breaks to pray and read quite often. Also, learned to work together through practicing fruits of the Spirit such as patience, kindness and self control. We are so blessed to have this undeserving life He has given us!
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. -Ephesians 4:1-3
