Islam - Bible Teaching #19

Okay guys, for today we will be on a slightly different type of teaching. We will be diving into the Quran. Does the Quran stand the test under scrutiny? Let's find out!

To start, let's squash the popular Muslim argument, that the Bible has been corrupted. Just using what the Quran says.

Surah 5:44
"Indeed, We revealed the Torah, containing guidance and light, by which the prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah, made judgments for Jews. So too did the rabbis and scholars judge according to Allah’s Book, with which they were entrusted and of which they were made keepers. So do not fear the people; fear Me! Nor trade my revelations for a fleeting gain. And those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are ˹truly˺ the disbelievers."

So Allah is claiming that he revealed the Torah. Making the Torah the words of Allah.

Surah 5:46
"And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous."

Allah is now claiming to reveal the Gospel to Jesus. Making the Gospel the words of Allah.

Now check this out.

Surah 6:115
"The Word of your Lord has been perfected in truth and justice. None can change His Words. And He is the All-Hearing, All- Knowing."

No one can change the words of Allah. If the Torah and the Gospel are words of Allah, and no one can change the words of Allah; then, the Gospel and Torah could not become corrupted. If they are corrupted then the Quran is wrong, we can change the words of Allah. If they are not corrupted, then the Quran is once again, wrong; the Torah and Gospels contradict the Quran.

Surah 4:157 says,
'And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, the messenger of Allāh." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.'

Jesus never died according to the Quran.

According to all 4 Gospels, this is incorrect.

Matthew 27:50
And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

Mark 15:37
And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last.

Luke 23:46
And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, "Father, 'into Your hands I commit My spirit.'" Having said this, He breathed His last.

John 19:30
So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

So, either the Quran is wrong, we can change the words of Allah; since the Gospels were written by Allah. Or, the Quran is wrong, Jesus did in fact die; as the Gospels, written by Allah, say. Check mate? But, wait there is more!

Surah 3:54
And the disbelievers made a plan ˹against Jesus˺, but Allah also planned—and Allah is the best of planners.

That word translated to "plan", "planned" and "planner" is the Arabic word makir. That word literally means deceive. This passage calls Allah the best of deceivers! Who is the Deceiver in the Bible? Satan is! Allah just admitted that he is Satan! No wonder why they translated the word to planner, deceptive.

As Jesus said,
"A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master."

If Allah is a deceiver and the greatest of them. You better believe that his disciples will be exactly that. Translating the word for deceiver into planner is a lie! They lie because they are of their father the Devil. The father of lies.

Next, the Quran actually mentions that Muslims believe the Bible, Surah 29:46.

If the Quran says that Muslims believe the Bible. Then the Bible says that the Quran is wrong. That is not a good look. How does that logically do any good for the Quran?

Next we get to, Surah 65:4.
"As for your women past the age of menstruation, in case you do not know, their waiting period is three months, AND THOSE WHO HAVE NOT MENSTRUATED AS WELL. As for those who are pregnant, their waiting period ends with delivery. And whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make their matters easy for them."

The Quran literally tells people to wait 3 months, to divorce their wives, who have not menstruated yet. Incase they are pregnant. That presupposes that you have slept with the girl. The Quran does not even require girls to bleed, before intercourse. That is beyond comprehension. It is sick. It is twisted. It is perverted. It is hellbound!

Going even further. Pretty much the whole chapter of Surah 9, is about the forceable taxation, forceable conversion, or execution of non Muslims. Those are the only 3 options. You wonder why Islam is so terrible in the Middle East? They are just following the Quran!

Well this is just a short introduction to the deep flaws in Islam. I pray this helps when engaging them in evangelism. May God save them. May God bless you.
